Zheng Shuang under fire again.
Zheng Shuang, whose reputation collapsed after she was accused of abandoning her two surrogate babies in the US earlier this year, was ordered by the Shanghai Municipal Tax Service to pay fines for tax evasion of nearly 220 million RMB, and taxes of 72 million RMB.
A few days ago, Shanghai Municipal Tax Service has found that Zheng Shuang has not declared personal income of 191 million RMB, tax evasion of 45,269,600 RMB, and other underpaid taxes of 26,520,700 RMB from 2019 to 2020, and has made a recovery against Zheng Shuang in accordance with the law. A total of 299 million RMB ($46 million) in taxes, late fees and fines were imposed.
The State Administration of Taxation supports the Shanghai Municipal Tax Service in handling Zheng Shuang’s tax evasion cases in accordance with the law for social fairness and justice.
