"Cliff Walkers" is a 2021 Chinese historical spy thriller film directed by Zhang Yimou and written by Quan Yongxian. "Cliff Walkers" will also represent the mainland China to compete for next year’s 94th Oscar for Best International Film.
On November 29, the nomination list of the 34th Chinese Film Golden Rooster Awards was officially released. Zhang Yimou nominated for the best director award with the movie "Cliff Walkers". This is the second time he was nominated for the best director. His first time nominated with "House of Flying Daggers" film at the 24th Chinese Film Golden Rooster Awards in 2004.
It is known that "Cliff Walkers" was nominated for several categories including: Best Feature Film, Best Art, Best Recording, Best Photography, Best Actor, and Best director.
