1. Yang Zi
Yang Zi is well-known for her role in Ode of Joy, Ashes of Love, and Go Go Squid. The former child actress who was born in Beijing made her acting debut since 1999 in the drama Ru Ci Chu Shan, which she played as Zhou Qiong. In 2002, she played as a young Consort Donggo in Xiaozhuang Epic.
Yang Zi received best young actress at Tongniu Film Awards from her acting in Girl’s Diary, 2003. However, she started to rise in fame in 2005 when she was playing the role as Xia Xue in Home With Kids. Because the series was very popular, the sequel Home With Kids 2 was made.
From 2009, Yang Zi transitioned into teen roles and starred in various dramas like Girl Rushes Forward and Love Comes Knocking on the Door. You can catch up her next upcoming dramas Immortal Samsara, The North of the Space, and Yan Yu Yi Meng Guo Jiang Nan.
2. Guan Xiaotong
A 24-year old and Beijing actress Guan Xiaotong is also on the list of child actresses. Just like Yang Zi, Guan Xiaotong also graduated from Beijing Film Academy. She gained to fame for her roles in The Left Ear and Shadow, and in series To Be a Better Man. She is also considered as one of the Four Dan Actresses of the Post-90s Generation along with Zheng Shuang, Zhou Dongyu, and Yang Zi.
Being born in an acting family, Guan Xiaotong was encouraged to be a kid actress at a very young age. She started her acting debut in 2001 in Yan Hai Chen Di Qu, which she played as Ping Ping. Later in 2003, she played in Life or Death as Niu Niu, Never Give Up on Life, also played as Niu Niu, and many others.

3. Yang Mi
A 34-year old famous actress is also known as a child star. Besides a popular actress, Yang Mi is also a popular singer and producer. Like Yang Zi and Guan Xiaotong, Yang Mi is also graduated from Beijing Film Academy. Her most popular roles are in Eternal Love, Swords of Legends, Chinese Paladin 3, and Tiny Times.
Yang Mi started her acting debut at the age of four in the historical drama Tang Ming Huang in 1990, which she played as the young princess Xianning. Yang Mi then had a minor role in King of Beggars in 1992. Two years later, she starred in the television series Hou Wa, where her acting left a deep impression to the producer.
From 2001 to 2002, Yang Mi started her career as an advertising model and then got back to acting career in 2003 in The Story of a Noble Family. Yang Mi was rising popularity in the late 2000s.
